Electrical Companies Grimsby
Comparing electrical companies? Here's how to tell them apart on licensing, availability and the work they handle.
How to compare electrical companies
Electrical companies range from one-person operations to large firms with several crews. Size matters less than whether they're licensed, whether they take your kind of job, and whether they can get to you when you need them.
Looking at a few things side by side makes the choice easier.
What to compare
Licensing
Every electrical company in Ontario needs an ECRA/ESA licence. Check the number.
Availability
Do they answer after hours, or only during the week? Emergencies don't keep office hours.
Type of work
Some companies only do new builds or only commercial work. Make sure they take your kind of job.
How they quote
Look for a written quote after a site visit, not a vague number over the phone.
