Exterior lighting
Outdoor Lighting Grimsby
Light up entrances, driveways, gardens and soffits with outdoor lighting wired for weather and set on timers.
Outdoor lighting that looks good and holds up to the weather
Outdoor lighting makes a home safer to walk around at night and shows off the house and garden. It also has to deal with rain, snow and freeze-thaw cycles, so fixtures, boxes and connections need to be rated for wet locations.
We install line-voltage fixtures, soffit pot lights and low-voltage landscape systems, with timers, photocells or motion sensors so they come on when you need them.
Outdoor lighting options
Soffit pot lights
Wet-rated pot lights in the soffits to wash the front of the house in light.
Landscape and path lights
Low-voltage lights along walkways, gardens and trees, run from a transformer.
Security lighting
Motion-activated floodlights for driveways, side yards and back doors.
Entrance and garage lights
New or replacement fixtures by doors and garages, on switches, timers or photocells.
Deck and patio lighting
Step lights, post lights and outlets for decks and patios.

How Much Does Outdoor Lighting Cost?
Outdoor lighting costs depend on the number of fixtures, how far wiring has to run, whether trenching is needed, and the controls you choose. A few replacement fixtures cost far less than a full landscape system. We quote each project after seeing the property.
Outdoor Lighting questions
Can outdoor lights be on a timer?
Yes. We can use timers, photocells that turn lights on at dusk, or smart switches.
Is low-voltage landscape lighting safer?
Low-voltage systems are safer to work around in gardens and are easy to adjust. The transformer still needs a proper outdoor outlet.
Can you add an outdoor outlet at the same time?
Yes. We install weatherproof GFCI outlets for decks, patios and holiday lighting.
Do you work in winter?
Yes, for most outdoor fixtures. Trenching for landscape lighting is easier when the ground isn't frozen.
